Where It All Starts

Where It All Starts

When I first launched And Our in July of 2021, it existed as ready-to-wear. At the time, I didn’t fully have the language for what I was doing. I just knew I wanted to make clothes that felt soft, romantic, and intentional. Pieces that carried feeling.

Not long after, I stepped away from RTW.

By Valentine’s Day of 2024, when I relaunched the brand, I was craving something much deeper. I needed to follow my dressmaking passion fully. I needed space to build my world as a designer, not just individual garments, but an entire aesthetic language that felt honest to who I was becoming. That relaunch marked a realization of self for me, both creatively and personally. It coincided with my own becoming as trans femme, and with that came clarity. I wanted to make work that felt expansive, emotional, and unapologetically femme.

Since then, dresses have been my anchor. They allowed me to explore hyperfemininity without compromise. I could play with volume, softness, drama, and tenderness. Through them, I learned what And Our actually is. I learned how I want things to feel on the body, how I want them to move through the world, and what kind of intimacy I want my designs to hold.

Now, I feel ready to bring that world back into ready-to-wear.

This return isn’t about going backward. It’s about carrying everything I’ve learned forward. The aesthetic I’ve been building through dresses now has a clear home in RTW. Hyperfemme, expressive, and rooted in the belief that femininity is for everyone. These pieces are designed to live across genders, to be styled intuitively, and to invite play rather than rules.

And truthfully, this return isn’t happening in isolation. Over the past year, you’ve been asking for it. In comments, messages, and conversations, you’ve been asking for pieces you can wear every day. The response to the Faye Mini Bag made that even clearer. It felt like a quiet confirmation that the timing was right, that the world we’re building together wants more entry points and more ways to be worn and lived in.

So, RTW 26 is coming.

This next chapter of And Our will include tops, tights, sweaters, and knits. Pieces that feel layered, soft, and intentional. Designed to move with you through daily life while still carrying the emotional weight and romance of the brand. Bottoms will come later. I want to be transparent about that. Finding a manufacturing partner who is willing to work with me thoughtfully and responsibly across extended sizes takes time, and I’m committed to doing it right rather than rushing it.

This return to ready-to-wear feels less like a launch and more like a continuation. Of growth. Of self. Of trust. Thank you for being collaborators in this process, for your patience, your excitement, and for allowing And Our the space to evolve alongside you.

I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
