The Softest Way Forward

Dear lovers,

We’ve always believed in softness. In clothes that float, in care that feels held, in beauty that takes its time.

But lately, the world has been rushing. Tariffs and trade wars, rising costs, and logistical noise have crowded the air — and as a small business, we’ve felt the ripple. To be transparent: continuing as we were simply wasn’t sustainable. But instead of reacting with panic or dilution, we chose something different.

We are choosing to pause, breathe, and return to our roots — slower, deeper, more deliberate.

And so, we are turning the page.

And Our Label will now operate as a preorder-based brand, creating garments in limited “Chapters,” made just for you — one at a time, with no waste and no rush.

Instead of holding inventory, we will now open preorders for a small batch of pieces at a time. Think of each collection as a short story — a Chapter — and each garment as a sentence written by hand.

Only 10 preorders per Chapter
Each release will be intentionally small, so every garment gets the attention it deserves.

Made-to-measure or choose your size
You can either submit your measurements or select from our 0-40 size range. Every piece is still made to order, and custom sizing remains free.

Allow 6–8 weeks for creation and shipping
In collaboration with our incredible atelier, pieces will be made all at once and shipped all together. We cannot expedite or rush any one particular order.

There are many reasons — personal, political, poetic.

1. The world is shifting.

Recent trade regulations have made importing goods from our atelier in China more expensive, more complex, and more unpredictable. We could raise all our prices. Or cut corners. But neither of those felt like us.

So we’re choosing intention instead of scale. Quality instead of volume. The long way, not the fast one.

2. We don’t believe in waste.

Fashion, for us, has never been about mass production. We don’t want to make things that sit on a shelf. We want to make things that live on your skin, in your photos, in your memories. Preordering ensures we only create what’s truly wanted.

3. You deserve something special.

There’s a kind of magic in knowing your piece was made for you — not plucked from a pile. Our preorder model brings you closer to the process. You become part of the rhythm. You are stitched into the story.

Even as the structure changes, our values remain.

This change is not just a business decision — it’s a love letter to the way we believe things should be. Slower. More personal. Full of trust and creativity and care.

We know this won’t be for everyone. And that’s okay. But if you’re here for the story, the softness, the slower pace — we are still writing just for you.
