In rebooting And Our as a trans femme dress brand, I wanted to put together four silhouettes that I love and would want to come back to again and again.
In "Cardcaptor Sakura", Sakura's her best friend Madison (Tomoyo) would create her a new "battle costume" for each fight Sakura was card hunting in. Each costume was a representation of her feelings, her dreams, and how she saw the situation. For myself, making these four similar but different styles of dresses is my nod to the battle costume idea.
