In The Pink

Five years ago, And Our Label began as a quiet devotion to softness in a world that rarely makes space for it. What started as a love letter to pink, to dolls, to fantasy, and to becoming has grown into something fuller and more intentional. In The Pink, our 5th anniversary drop, is not just a gown. It is a reflection. A pause. A thank you.
The earliest seed for In The Pink comes from the original “In The Pink” Silkstone Barbie released in 2000 and 2001. That doll embodied a very specific kind of elegance: romantic, self-possessed, and unapologetically feminine. She wasn’t playful in a loud way. She was poised, dreamy, and powerful in her softness. For me, she represented an aspirational femininity rooted in beauty, care, and intention, something that felt sacred long before I had the language for it. This gown is, in many ways, an adult conversation with that memory.
Layered into that inspiration is Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon, a figure of divine femininity who exists beyond battle or performance. Serenity is softness without apology. Power without armor. A reminder that femininity can be celestial, tender, and world-shaping all at once. Where the Silkstone Barbie offered a vision of romantic elegance, Princess Serenity offered permission to see softness as something holy. In The Pink lives in the space where those two worlds meet.

Shot beneath a glass conservatory and surrounded by blooming flowers, the gown exists between fantasy and reality. The off-the-shoulder neckline, cascading ruffles, and voluminous skirt reference historical romance silhouettes while remaining light, joyful, and wearable. It’s a dress designed to take up space gently. To move with you. To feel celebratory without spectacle.
This anniversary drop extends beyond the gown itself. Alongside In The Pink, we’ve created a special art print, a coordinating handbag, and additional keepsakes, each designed as a collectible extension of the story. These pieces are meant to be cherished and revisited, marking a moment in time where softness was chosen intentionally.
At its core, this collection is about divine femininity as something internal rather than ornamental. It honors evolution, return, and the quiet power of remaining tender. Femininity, for me, has never been static. It has been something reclaimed, redefined, and deeply personal. In The Pink exists because of that ongoing becoming.
As always, the gown is made-to-order and offered in inclusive sizing from XXS to 6X, with custom sizing at no additional cost. This is part of our continued commitment to slow fashion, care, and designing for real bodies and real lives.
Five years in, I’m still choosing pink. Still choosing wonder. Still choosing softness as strength.
Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us.
